Sébastien, our General Manager in Peru, has built a longstanding partnership with Don Simon, who has been supplying us with upcycled avocados for more than two decades.

We established our own factory in Lima to support the local economy and create a lasting positive impact — championing traditional agriculture, building genuine relationships with workers, and respecting Peru's unique ecosystem.

Respect for the land

Wherever possible, Mustela prioritises organic farming. Every avocado used in our products is upcycled from the food industry — fruit that would otherwise go to waste because of its size, colour, or shape.

Mindful of water use in Peru, we source from regions where water is naturally abundant and only traditional irrigation methods are used. We've also been a proud member of the UEBT (Union for Ethical BioTrade) since 2011 — a not-for-profit that promotes ethical sourcing practices that respect both people and biodiversity. Our avocados come from UEBT-verified responsible sourcing.
