Nursing Comfort Balm - certified ORGANIC

A very hydrating lotion is the Mustela Comfort Balm. Although the composition has a gel-like texture, it is neither thin nor watery. Instead, the mixture distributes evenly and is relatively thick. After being rubbed in, a thin, non-oily residue was left behind. If you apply too much, a little of it does transfer, but it doesn't stain. The lotion had no noticeable aroma, which was excellent. It's made of natural ingredients, which is something I look for more now that I'm a parent. As a result of the formula's relative thickness and the fact that my skin feels constricted when I use products like this in the warmer months, I believe this is best for the winter or dry seasons.

The best thing about this one is that it is fragrance free. Compared to the other lanolin products I have used on the nipples this one doesn't have that strong smell and it also acts to sooth the nipple quite quickly. Love that it is also safe for bub to re latch on.

Only received a very small sample (3ml) so hard to give a good review as I only really used it 3 times. Used it as alternative to labsinoh during the first week whilst my nipples were damaged. Easy to apply and use. Hard to tell if it made a difference due to size. I would probably buy this product if I need in the future.

This was a very pleasant smelling gentle cream to apply to the nipples to prevent cracks another soreness due to my newborn breastfeeding. I didn't have any aliments to begin with but certainly had no concerns with applying this cream. I look forward to continuing to use this product as breastfeeding continues.
